We are one of a handful of teams who have a big road win and have taken care of business vs the cupcakes. I'd have said 10th, Arkansas scraping by a 1-AA team is a big ding. Georgia smashing South Carolina doesn't make their 44-30 win look that good either. The strange fascination with Beamer should already be over.

I’ve never been one to put much into the rankings, but I’d be lying if I told you beating Florida and cracking the top 10 doesn’t fire me up. If we can get over the Florida hump, we’ll see where we really stand when we play lsu and Bama.

Keep in mind, it's just #20 Florida. Our fan base make Florida into more than they are most years, even when (like now) they are pedestrian. Most poll voters don't see the gators as all that and a bag of chips. In fact, they seem to be over them.

I think Tennessee is one of those teams that can beat anyone when they’re playing well. Even against Georgia or Bama, given we get a couple of breaks. Consistency is what needs to improve. We can’t have a half like we did the 2nd half against Pitt.

Meh, getting beat by Bama again won’t make that much of a difference.

Besides Georgia, they’ll be one of the best teams in the country and we’re not on their level quite yet.

We should have taken Arkansas spot at 10. They had to have a fourth quarter comeback to beat Missouri State.

Would we have needed a fourth quarter comeback to beat them?

Highly highly doubt it.

That's besides the point, no top ten team should ever struggle with an FCS team. I mean if it's NDSU it's understandable. Otherwise no.

It's time to take out years of frustration out on UF this weekend. Just think of how many times we should have beat them over the years and some crazy **** happened. 2000, 2006, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017....hell...we were toe to toe with them lasy year until Callaway dropped that 4th down catch.

It's time to exercise the demons this saturday...I think we win by 17 to 24 points.
