I'm sitting here wondering how you guys are even Tennessee fans..... Especially a guy named BigOrangeTrain.....
Stating oh we get beat by 17+ by WV. Lol.
You kidding me? I'm very realistic and I will tell you this. If we don't win this game it will be a disappointment to this program because WV and their QB is overrated.
So many have had their hearts broken. Close losses, blow out losses will do that to some. Those losses have created an attitude of gloom and despair. Sure they are still Vol fans, they can’t help that part. Sure they are all gloom and doom, they can’t help that either.
The only medicine that will get them thru is wins. Not just a dose here and there, but a steady dose of wins. Don’t forget they want them to be impressive wins too. A close win will only feed their gloom.
As Vol fans we got used to winning. Sure we would have the occasional heartbreaking loss, but it wasn’t week after week and year after year.
Who isn’t ready for another run at greatness? I know I am.
I see WV as a spring board game. From what all I’ve heard they are suppose to be a solid team that would be a challenge for any seasoned team.
Here we are with new everything, expecting to beat a top 20 team out of the gate. What nerve? Why gall? Who do we think we are? I’ll tell you who. We are a hungry team that has talent that has been hindered by previous game plans and schemes. We are a team that has faced the worse and are determined to do great things. We are a team that has a tradition of winning with players that are ready to revive that tradition. We are a team that is primed to go out and win for Tennessee.
Let the doubters doubt. All we want is the 100,000 to show up, get loud and support the players that will be in charge of making it happen.
I say let the chips fall in 2018. I like our chances of being great and look forward to every game. The opportunity is there.
As for the football aspect of WV. They are in the dark preparing for us. The only have the O&W game to study. We showed so many formations they are overloaded with what to expect and to prepare for.
Their only hope is CJP can only handle one side of the ball and that he isn’t very good at that as a HC. The reality CJP with have a defense that will rip your throat out and an offense that will stomp on it.
Bring on WV and the 11 other scrub teams on our schedule.
