How do yall think we will do in 2006 football recruits? we are of to a great start with McClendon and Dustin Lindsey.......Reply with predictions #1 class again?

Like you said, they are already off to a great start. If the Vols can manage to stay in the top 5 all season, that will help Fulmer's cause even more. If we go to the NC game......look out!

Also, losing the players that we are after this season, there is going to be a lot of talent that will come for early playing time.

I just hope all of this bad press that we have been getting latley dosen't creep into potential recruits heads as a reason to go some where else. Losing good recruits because your program has a bad reputation has happened to good programs before.

We have had a recent run of incidents but give it about 30 days and there will probably be another top level school experiencing similiar problems. I think Fulmer will get the house back in order and this will all be a distant memory for recruits once the season starts.

fulmer's ability to "clean house" is respectable if anything else.

i think it is important to show recruits that there is no seperation from being a star on the football field and being a leader off the field as well.

if they dont come here cause of troublesome recruits, they probably weren't volunteer material anyways. :twocents:

No 1 class, nope due to lower signing numbers. next class will have 15 to 18 signees.

UT is already at 5 commitments for the 2006 class

Yes very early, but since were on the subject you could possibly have the 1 Class with only limited numbers. USC only signed a few recruits this year compared to us and they were #1 by some experts. I think we have a shot if we can go the the NC game.

If anyone watched any of the "signing day" programs etc...

Most of the verbals and commited which signed, even the guys balancing UT and other schools' All was take'n back by the "FANS" and walking into Neyland on game day! That kid out of Miss "center" prospect with a playing rap sheet that was hard to believe spoke as if it didnt matter' that crowd and noise and love won him at his 1st visit

I think UT has that before anyone! and this off the field junk wont be a factor' except for if i sign at UT dont mess around
