If CPF wasn't allow to turn things around after his bad 3 year run .(well we almost won the sec championship that second year but that didn't count) Then how can the AD justify letting this go any further . Not a hater but just asking the question if 2 out of 3 while winning the east wasn't good enough how in the heII is this.

I've kinda wondered how the hiring of Dave Clawson could get Fulmer fired and the hiring of Sal not get Dooley fired?

You have just shared the thoughts of many VOL fans... We do not hate Dooley, we believe he ios a great guy... However, we realize that he is not effective in coaching the VOLS. NCState, GAState, and Akron all played us tough through the first half ... and we should have had each of them totally blown out by the end of the first quarter. Then, add the tough losses... caused not only by player ineptitude and on-field decisions, but also by lack of D1 coaching experience evident in the coaching decisions made by Coach Dooley.

Except for the ineptitude of the Athletic Director, Dave Hart, Dooley is gone by season's end...

I just wish Hart would read a few of the forums in order that he might have an idea of what the fans are thinking.. but no, he is too important to fool with paying attention to all but the most prominent donors....

While I agree that he was slacking and buried us at the end. I can't bring myself to bash him. The man loved and still loves Tennessee and won us a national title. I just can't understand how he let the recruiting fall so hard ad who can forget the Clawfense.

Fulmer was the reason UT football needed to be 'turned around.'

No. It is not.

So you would you rather get beat like we are doing than make it to Atlanta and at the very least have the chance to win the big one? Good to know. Obviously winning is the ultimate goal, but seeing as how he's the last Vol coach to even sniff an SEC championship, I don't see how you can even justify your opinions regarding Fulmer.

Catch up with you in a week. Headed to Gatlinburg. Laptop has been forbidden. Keep up the ill-informed, delusional, wrong-headed thinking. lol

Donut Friar is a must in Gburg. The original Smoky Mountain Brewery. (full of Russians now for some reason) Pancake Pantry for breakfast.

(that post makes me sound like Fulmer)

Thank you for the info. I know this is the wrong forum, but I am even getting bored with the Fulmer debate. Have you been to Cades Cove? If you think you sound like Fulmer, remember if you go too far to the right, you end up on the left!!!! lol
