Does anyone know what rank we have now? I know UGA scored a lot of points on the two teams they played that were ranked below 90ish.

95th in total defense. 110th in scoring defense. 83rd in pass defense. 88th in rushing defense.

All of this is from the rankings at ncaa.org.

Thanks

I pulled this off CBS Sports.

Georgia's inexperienced secondary suffered a huge blow when senior strong safety went down in the first quarter and did not return against Ole Miss. Johnson is the unquestioned leader of the secondary, and it would be a huge loss if he can't return for the Oct. 6 game at Tennessee.

Do you think with the secondary kind of hurting like that, Eric should be able to get some movement downfield on them which could open up our Running game a bit.

I still think it's the wr's not the qb.

Agreed, and that QB might be without the brace on his throwing hand against UGA. I know that Cut had Ainge practice with it off for 3 practices, and Ainge was also reporting that the pain and aching was gone. Could be pure speculation, but I would reason that Ainge probably knew he couldn't consistently make the deep pass with 2/5 of his hand out of the throwing mechanics... Like I said, could be pure speculation, but I guess we'll see in 2 1/2 days.

"People are going to be on us right now. But at the end of the season, they're going to like us."

This is a quote from Ryan Karl in "The Tennessean"

"This week, I've got to go in and do my job," Hefney said. "I won't be running backwards anymore, I know that.".

Let's hope both of these statements are soooooo true!!

GO VOLS!!!
