Here are the raw numbers on possessions per game.
In 2008-2009. Pearl - 73 - Tyndall 69 - Zo 64
2009-10. Pearl - 71 - Tyndall - 68 - Zo - 66
2010-2011 Pearl 69 - Tyndall 66 - Zo 63
2011-2012 Tyndall - 62 - Zo 67
2012-2013 Tyndall - 68 - Zo 66
2013-2014 Tyndall - 66 - Zo 64
At the very height of Pearl's pressing, running, gunning, Lofton/Smith teams our max possessions per game were 74.
Zo had a peak of 67, Tyndall has peaked at 69 in the last 6 years. Tyndall's low point came when Morehead lost Faried and another All-OVC first teamer. He played slow ball that year.
Virginia Military is always near the top in possessions per game, they almost always average over 80 but were over 90 this past year.
By looking at that, Tyndall's pace is normally not quite as fast as Pearls, but generally faster than Zo's by about the same margin Pearl is faster than Tyndall.
