Temple vs OU

I don't see anything so far that really impresses me about Oklahoma. Their kicker is automatic though, I'll give them that.

I have to agree, the Qb can scoot but thats about all that impresses me. Temple looks pitiful, very weak.

don’t understand why they are still playing Arnold this late.

Probably over reacting to week one but Oklahoma offense has not been sharp against a really bad temple defense. Given 4 turnovers (3 in temple territory) plus temple having 5 3 and outs and only scoring 37 points is pretty poor. Hopefully losing Lebby shows when they plays us

Very fortunate to have 3 fumbles bounce your way.

Also, outside of the very first possession that was a 76 yrd TD drive, Oklahoma's next longest drive was 52 yards and ended with a FG. No other possessions went more than 45 yards.

Yep Arnold played well, no reason he's still in

He played well with a short field and when in the red-zone. Outside of that he wasn't good enough on 3rd down. Too many punts and FGs against a terrible team. Only 141 yards passing.

In the end, the scoreboard looks as it should, but, despite throwing 4 TDs, OU fans were probably hoping for more out of their offense.

Most concerning stat was 3rd down efficiency where OU was 1-12. This is already an unacceptable stat line, but even moreso considering the opponent. Coming out of last bowl game, my observation was Arnold held the ball too long. He had multiple quick throws short of the sticks today. Maybe he was overcorrecting a bit. But either way, not efficient enough.
