I think this picture sums it all up as well...

maybe we could ask our opposing teams to spot us 14 points before kickoff just to make the games more competitive. After watching our tapes, they're planning on having at least a punt return and a fumble return for a TD anyways.

Kinda similar to a golf handicap.

REcap: It was officially over for me when we took the KO after the Foster fumble/UF TD and punted...the UF returner muffed the punt and UF recovered at their own 1/2 yard line...they marched the field on us and scored a TD.

am i the only one sick and tired of watching tennessee's defense just try to knock the crap out of someone with their shoulder and not wrap up? I'm also tired of seeing the D jump at the offensive player but just be a few inches away from getting him. it's like we have a bunch of jr. high tacklers out there. pathetic

When UT did not convert the first down on the opening drive or when Berry's pick six did not fire up the D or when Florida was at the 1 yard line and threw a 59 yard pass

No vocal leaders on defense.Everyone must have visions of nfl dollars in their heads.Well they better start playing football or they will be repeating this phrase"would you like fries with that sir".

I unfortunately (or fortunately?) had to miss most of the game due to work today, but I did get to go in during breaks and watch about 40 minutes or so, during the 2nd quarter.

After I got home, I was watching some ABC recaps, Doug Flutie was one of the panelists. The host asked the two guys what was most suprising to them today, and Flutie said "The way Florida just pounded..." And forgot Tennessee's name.

I cringed when I saw that.

Anyways, I want some recap.

NOTHING IN THIS THREAD ABOUT FULMER'S FUTURE. ONLY GAME-RELATED INFO

Thank you.
not mention CPF?
how can anyone recap and relate to the game without mentioning the leader in which every decision is filtered....???? everything Florida did well was attributed to urban and a great coaching scheme, great preparation, great development and readiness....our losses involved poor preparation, poor coaching and poor adjustments at half time.

Because there are plenty of other threads for that. At least let 1 thread serve another purpose.

I agree. The human lawn dart crap needs to stop. This was actually mentioned on the pre-game call in show last week. once you're airborne your path is limited to 'forward'. You cannot stop. You cannot change paths. The opposing player can change direction. He can stop and then go. Etc. Etc.

I'm tired of watching an overrated QB fold! Throwing the ball away on 4th down.....

momentum went to florida just a few minutes into the game. we go 3 and out to start the game, then florida runs a punt back. then we kick a field goal after being in a great position to score, then florida marches right down the field and scores, then we kick another FG after being in great position to score. florida scores 2 more TDs. tennessee gains a little momentum going into the half by going down and scoring. 28-13 at the half.

on florida's first possession of the second half, they drive the ball right down the field until eric berry gets a pick six for 95 years. tennessee forces a 3 and out on florida's subsequent possession. we have all the momo. then foster fumbles, florida runs it back for a TD, making it 35-20. all downhill from there and i don't feel like talking about it.

The fumble was the killer IMO. But the real problem was we can't seem to rememebr how to tackle anybody. Hitting a guy doesn't get him on the ground. Wrap up and put the man on the ground. The Deon Grant School of Tacking is a complete joke.

The few special team breaks that went our way we didn't take advantage of.

Cooker's big return -- INT in the red zone.

Down the ball on the 1 -- 99 yard drive for TD.

Poor Dennis Rogan got "Bill Batesed" but atleast he got the guy on the ground.

I think its funny that most fomer Vol player were most upset by the fact that Tebow was left in the game and no one tried to "take him out" Bobby Scott went so far as to say...someone should have went over to Urban and said....its alright to leave him in there but I'm going to take him out....Fred White was upset that players would pat Tebow on the helmet after a play. I even witnessed one of our ball boys do it when Tebow ran out of bounds. Seems the players were in awe of him as well!

Almost as if to say. "If you are going to beat the hell out of me anyway, we might as well be friends".

What I noticed, when the TV wasn't on Tim Tebow on the Florida sideline, and was on our sideline, was the lack of fire in our coaches. As I have said on another post, The Coaches Look Like Old Tired Men!
