Not only the Tennessee Volunteers football team, but also the Pride of the Southland Band will be making their way into the Horseshoe for the first time. Rarely does UT play a school with a band on the same planet as the Pride, and now we get to see them matched with another top 5 band program. Both are widely acknowledged as two of the best—perhaps the two very best—in the country. The only better matchup than the teams themselves might be the bands.

ESPN, get your head out of your rear and TELEVISE HALFTIME!

This has been me shouting into the void, thank you.

I think I saw they're only taking a pep band due to ticketing, but would travel full band if we make it round 2.

Moran? As in Donnie Moran? He won the Eldora Million…..son is Devin.

He’s into halftime shows now? I thought he went crypto mining back in 2016.

I think they stopped televising bands at halftime because people would rather see other things like highlights from other games and analysis, but I realize lots of folks do want to see it
