Depends on how well you think it through.
He definitely didn’t better his situation by going to USC.

Let’s see.. he made $2mil at TN.. and doubled his salary - and fulfilled a dream - at USC. Yeah that was stupid. The only time he’s taken a lesser spot is when he’s forced to. Outside of that.. it’s all raises.

Doubled his salary and got fired.
The flip side if he’s half the coach you think he is he’s making 4 times that here in his 15th season with maybe a few trips to the playoffs and a NC

Any one of us would’ve taken that same risk. Also, he’s a very good coach, whether I think he is or not.

Most ole miss teams will not be in first place in the west. Therefore, they cannot be a power. As long as there is Bama, LSU in the west. Ole miss will prolly be behind them most years.

Not the point of my post. LK won 10 games at Ole miss which is a really good coaching job. My point is that most coaches from the lowest to the highest levels of college football make moves to better their respective positions.
