It's official. Tee Martin has been released by the Baltimore Ravens as the new coaching staff continues to make changes. I wonder if UT will consider him in any role. He was definitly not the issue for the offense this year. He has been a great QB coach for us. He would be a great VFL to have around the program in any capacity.

Tee officially coached WRs at UT, didn't he?

I'm not saying he's not a VFL but I don't see us needing him for WRs or QBs.

Wasn't he rumored to watch Netflix in office and not show up to practices when he our our 3rd-down passing coordinator ? I know they are all rumors but given how bad our offense and QB were probably not a good idea. Also, I am not sure if Tee wants to come here. He was very upset that we did not consider him for HC role despite a lot of former Vols highly recommending him.

Tee has a street named after him and a statue (neither of which I agree with - but nonetheless). He's been treated with the highest of respect.

He won the last national championship here. Why does it matter if you change a street name? Do you really miss South Stadium Drive?

How is that Joe Paterno statue doing at Penn State? Some of us don't think anything should be named after a living person. You never really know what might transpire. Who ever thought that lovable OJ Simpson might not have a good name years after he retired.

I do. It was my favorite street at school.

Seriously, I'm personally not into naming things after entertainers. Rather see that go to more substantial contributions to society. And one of the four trailblazers with statues does not fit at all with the other three true trailblazers. He's a result of those three trailblazers.

Harbaugh and the Giants have yet to hire a QB coach. That sounds like a good fit. He really should be, or working to be, an OC at this point in his career.
