Tee Martin & Will Friend Co-OC?

Heard Ainge talking about that possibility this morning. Could it work? My initial thought was that I hate the idea of Co-OC’s, but at this point, unless we can get Sark, I think this isn’t an awful idea.

Tee did better as a Co-OC than the OC so wouldn’t be end of world. He is a great recruiter with national ties.

However most of what Angie thinks will happen doesn’t so...... 95% not done for Angie

Coach Friend is well respected as a really good coach so if he and Pruitt decided that Friend is our new OC I can accept that.

Tee Martin can go pound sand since he totally used us before just to leverage a pay raise for himself.

Him at UT in any way is a horrid idea IMO.

No it sounds like a terrible disaster.

If we don't hire Sark, then Osovet seems like a better choice IMO.

As much as I'd like to see Tee on staff, don't think the situation would be ideal right now. He's not a top-notch OC at the moment; he's probably better suited to being an OC under an offensive-minded coach who could mentor him. We need someone who can totally control the offense.

He could come on as a position coach, but not sure if we have the spots. If he did come on as a position coach, probably be as RB Coach and moving Weinke to QBs.
