Tee Higgins and Amari Rogers stock is falling

I can't say that I myself wouldn't do it but, a teacher/guidance counselor should NEVER change the grade of any student, regardless of the circumstances! I played High School football my freshman and sophomore year and didn't my junior year because we were horrible. Well, it just so happened that my earth science teacher was our football coach and even with taking final exams I couldn't have passed the class for the semester. He told me if I would play for him the following year, he would make sure I passed and of course I agreed to it and I passed. I was just a decent football player, so I can't imagine how these elite players get treated.

Earth Science?

Seriously, how has Higgins been a drama queen? I don't do the whole Twitter thing, but I haven't seen anything that indicates he's a drama queen. For being a 5*, his recruitment has actually been very quiet.

Maybe he plays soft. Maybe he does not have the elite top-end speed. I still think Higgins is an elite prospect. I would love for someone to provide evidence that shows he's not.

Yes, but he can't do anything for guys who can't pass academic standards. Your priority must be to ask dumb questions without considering the obvious circumstances.

And how do you know he can't pass academic standards? Does UT have higher standards than Clemson, or perhaps more likely you don't have a clue about what standards are actually required?

I didn't say "our team" because I'm not the dufus that insulted Clemson. Nice try though.

"Clemsons star will fade" isn't really an insult as much as it is just a simple fact. Lol. Of course it will. But. Not soon imo. I think they beat Bama.

I know we have higher standards than the rest of the SEC, don't know about Clemson. I was trying to find the article that has been written about it, basically we won't give out waivers like most schools do. lots of folks complain about the handicap it gives us.

I know we have higher standards than the rest of the SEC,

Not even close to be true. As far as academics, we are #4 in SEC east (way behind the top 3 in the east, and sadly tied with Bama). Below are the SEC school academic rankings (from colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com)

Vandy - 15
UF - 50
UGA - 56
A&M - 74
Auburn - 99
UT - 103 - tie
Bama - 103 - tie
SCjr - 107
Missouri - 111
UK - 133
Arkansas -135 tie
LSU -135 tie
OLE Miss - 135 tie
Miss St - 176

Nukeese and Brown were 5 star players here. Added together they were 5 stars. Neither were close to a 5 star by themselves.

Please... both players were NFL talents... that was pretty obvious from the start. Nukeese lost his shot cause he was a criminal - plain and simple. Brown was never a team player and it didn't seem like he really wanted to be at TN - once Kiffin left it made sense for him to leave (who the **** would want Dooley as their coach? Exactly...). Still got his shot and is still making money in the NFL...to say they aren't close to a 5 star talent is ridiculous. They were both elite.

He is talking about admission standards and we are right behind Vandy. We also don't give out standards waivers nearly as freely as our competition.

If you think Nukeese Richardson had nfl talent cause Kiffin put him on the field, you will never be a scout. NR wasn't near as fast as we were led to believe by LK. He never played anywhere after here. BB wasn't NFL talent. Yeah he had a great game one game vs a team that wasn't interested in playing. He had a cup of coffee in the NFL. That isn't NFL talent.

Ok lets see... Richardson had a shot with the Colts despite a plethora of character issues and some very obvious legal trouble...He didn't last, but to say he wasn't an NFL talent is silly. His problem is that he had the mental facilities of a 13 year old...

If the dude had his head screwed on right he'd probably be a PR or KR with some light work at receiver, similar to Cordarelle.

Say what you want about Brown but he had a decent rookie campaign and he's still making dough in the NFL...

I watched them both in one on ones. Higgins made plenty of plays. Rogers looked a bit too muscular but he's got a lot of ability even at 225. I wonder what they were watching.
