Okay, VolNation. Watch Ted Lasso!
I know, I know, a comedy show about soccer. But it’s soooo good and has the most clever dialogue and the best romantic subplots of any show ever. Okay maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but I don’t want anyone to miss out on this because it’s about soccer.

Small-time football coach Ted Lasso is hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer.

Any Ted Lasso fans that saw the last episode, did you recognize any of the scenes taken from different rom com movies? Very clever.

there's all kinds of subtle references thru the series. Heard one last nite from the first season. The morning after Ted sleeps with Rebecca's friend, she tells him she's going to sleep in and order a huge breakfast and put it on his hotel tab. Ted tells her that's ok, I'll be your Underhill. Nice throw back to the movie Fletch where Chevy Chase orders a steak sandwich and tells the waiter to put it on the Underhills tab

I remember that, but wouldn’t have connected it since I never saw Fletch. Pretty cool though.

One of the fresh new shows, but they're starting to slip in politics. Viewers have an enormous selection of political shows. What we viewers crave is an escape. Give us good TV and movies without the political agenda.

I didn’t have a problem with it. The Christmas episode was hillarious. I wonder how many times they said “merry Christmas” in that one?

I HATE that I love this show. It's the type of comedy I loathed growing up.

But, being soccer and having a KC guy helps a lot.

They have missed a few chances along the way so far this season, IMO. Been pretty damn funny though so far.

If you wait until Oct 8, when the season 2 finale comes out, you could easily binge the first two seasons in a week.
Season 1 has 10 episodes. Season 2 will have 12 episodes, a new one comes out every Friday.
If you buy an Apple device, Apple TV+ is included free for 3 months.
A monthly subscription is just $4.99 per month after a free seven-day trial.

So another option that would only cost you $4.99 would be wait and get the free one week trial any time after the September 3 episode.
The free week gets you until September 10 and $4.99 gets you until October 10.
Make sure to cancel after the finale on Oct 8. If you don’t like it after a few episodes you can always cancel and you are out nada.
