Hopson needs to ride the pine until his head gets right. Pearl needs to sit next to him because no one even guards him anymore. Summitt needs to get in the line up to hit some 3 balls for us (joke). Something wierd is affecting this team. Reminds me of Loften's senior year. He had been treated for cancer and everyone wondered where his shot was. Maybe Hopson has an STD and needs to seek treatment.

Something is affecting this team, and I don't think it's a player...something has happened and this team is just not the same team we saw previous to this week.

I am telling you its Hopson...he has taken the last 3 games off and it shows

Once/IF he wakes up..all will be fine

Well maybe this time Pearl has the testicular problem? The NCAA may be going to cut them off and they know it.

I hope we don't have to rely on that or it could be a very long season

We keep hearing this story, but this team is as much about Goins' play as it is anything.

I agree that Goins has disappeared too. Several players have disappeared and there must be a reason. This does not happen to Pearl team. I hope it is not the NCAA flu.

Goins:
Oakland - 18pts and 6 assist 2 rebs
So Cal - 10 pts 3 assist 5 rebs

Goins is not the problem guys...that is good enough production from a PG to win imo

Scotty is soft...thats the problem. He usually has a few games where he shows us he can play at a high level and then he goes back to his soft self. Notice last night, when he drove to the basket his mind set was not I want to score, it was hopefully I'll get fouled and then I'll act like it was the worst foul ever and throw the ball up and hope it goes in....Bench Hopson for a game or two and hope he gets the picture.

*Scotty is not the sole reason we are losing, but it doesn't help that one of our best players wears a skirt on the court.

This half court, grind it out game they've been playing isn't going to work. They need to find certain times in the game to press and try to speed the pace of the game up. What's the point in having such a deep bench if you aren't going to utilize it?

Well if this goes as Hopson does, then it will be going last place in the SEC and not making the tournament until his lazy ass starts playing some ball... With that said, this team will go as far as Melvin and Tobias takes them!!

If we only go as far as Hopson takes us, we sure won't be going very far. The most talented player I've ever seen who makes no difference for his team in the majority of games.

Having a stat line doesn't talk to PG play.

?

doesn't your play provide the stats

he only had 1 turnover in each game

I don't know what else you could be wanting to look at

Nothing. Stats are everything in a PG. Everything.

Scotty isn't the only problem but he is definately a big part. The last three games (with the exception of Charlotte, point wise) he's done nothing. Shot horribly and turned the ball over. Oakland - shot 14% 7pts. 2 t.o., Charlotte shot 32% 13pts 2 t.o., last night shot 20 % 8pts. 6 t.o. His inconsistency is why I laugh each time I hear him mentioned as an NBA prospect. He has all world talent but just can't seem to put it together for a season.

When you are supposed to be the play making, all-sec, NBA prospect you just can't pull the same damn Houdini act season in and season out. It's getting really old, honestly, to the point that I hope he jumps to the NBA this year.

On a side note I'm going to lose my mind if I see Brian Williams lay on the flour for 30 seconds after a foul again. I mean I'm sure it's just that he's embarassed of his atrocious free throw shooting but for love of god dude!

Yeah, I'm sure the NBA can't wait till the season is over and they can get Hopson---no doubt a first rounder.

Scotty is a pampered brat. I've played with the dude and seen his attitude. It's pretty darn sad that when you're drawing up an inbounds play for the win and he doesn't get to touch the ball.. better yet it goes to a FRESHMAN instead.

It just seems to me like this team (still) has NO leadership. Scotty talked ALL preseason about how he was assuming the leadership role to get this young team motivated. When they ran that last play Scotty didn't even look like he wanted a part of it.. just rolled off someone and set some poor excuse for a screen.

GROW UP YOUNG MAN, THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT CAN COME OF IT IS YOU'LL BE BACK FOR YOUR SENIOR YEAR!

V, B..
