in Louisiana. We are seeing the beginning of the end for Les Miles. 2008 will be for Miles what 2005 was for Fulmer.

I always thought Miles was kind of a loon. What's happening? Have all of Satans recruits moved on now?

Would they really fire him just a couple of years removed from a NC? I just don't think LSU will be down for very long

Right in Orgeron's wheelhouse.

Then again, after another sterling performance by the LSU D today, it looks more and more like their defensive coordinator position might be open for O to take.

I think it's a combination of things. First, Miles doesn't develop players anywhere near as well as Saban. Next, it's the law of averages. Last year, he hit on all of those low percentage gambles. He is what he was at Oklahoma State, an 8-4 coach. Miles is a slightly better version of Larry Coker.

Given that the guy who set up Miles for success is now in LSU's division tearing things up, Tiger fans and administrators will have very little patience.

I would think the LA talent would look to migrate out with the meltdown of LSU, but for some reason, it seems like they never stray too far.

Not a chance. Kids here in Louisiana rank schools in this order: 1) LSU, 2) wherever Saban is coaching, and 3) Texas (with 2 and 3 far in the distance).

If Kiffin can pull the top talent in this state, I will convert to his biggest supporter.

Especially when they have to give him a raise at the end of the year to stay $1.00 ahead of Saban....

Kiffin should be able to bring in a lot of top California talent to UT. USC can only sign 20-25 players per year.
