Just like when Pearl left it's a trend for grades to drop when there's a coaching change, kids don't have the same sort of accountability when there's no coaching staff in place.

drewtiger will be along soon to tell us that the gpa was 5.4 till Cuonzo quit and it dropped to .4 but they're only reporting the average. Cuonzo's players were too busy with cold fusion to lift weights.

But didn't they announce yesterday that the GPA for the entire athletic department went up to above 3.0?

With that said, I'm sure Stokes and others weren't as "studious" knowing they were going into the NBA draft.
