The thing is, our defense will most likely be a different defense by the end of the year. Some won't be new and inexperienced like they were starting the season. I think they'd be good enough to hang with WVU..

I'd love to play Ohio State. A Vols win would not only give me free license to parade the city in orange and white, but it would cause mass outbreaks of hara-kiri in the city.

Of course, I'd wear my orange and white and they'd hound me and probably say that UT cheated their way to a win (odd, considering how OSU's bowl game against Miami ended).

The 2006 Mountaineers haven't seen the likes of Tennessee's defense.

I don't particularly like the idea of asking Ryan Karl to catch Steve Slaton myself....

I think you are wrong about Karl. He has decent speed, after all he came to UT as a safety and was moved to LB, al la Al Wilson, Steve Sessions, Kevin Burnett, etc. I trust Chavis to have the best three LB's on the field and right now Ryan is one of them!
