Team 120: The Year of the Maxims

One thing I can truly say about this season so far....this team is one that has lived and breathed General Neyland's Game Maxims. I've never seen a team in the last 10 years that has used the Game Maxims the way this team has to achieve victory. They don't care about all the chatter...what the media says...the mistakes they make at first. They keep pressing each and every Maxim without any doubt they will bring them victory...it seems to bring them more together...ZERO finger pointing....just keep your chin up and fight harder...want it more...LIVE THE MAXIMS.

You can say what you want about the early mistakes...Appy St. game...Ohio game...but the light bulb came on in the Florida game. Honestly...Florida is fortunate we didn't bust 50+ on them. Our WR's didn't help some nicely thrown balls by Dobbs in that first half. But unlike the teams of Dooley...and his leftovers...that were taught how to give up by an overpaid epic failure....this team fights for 60 minutes....find ways to win....championship teams...like the 1998 Vols did the same thing. This group of Vols will go to Georgia and straight handle business. Georgia might linger around but this team will make a statement this Saturday...no drop off...just a Bulldawg Beatdown.

Maxim #3 leads to Maxim #7.....a fight is a fight.....whether you are favored or not.....does not mean the other team is not going to do the same for 60 minutes. It goes hand in hand...I'm just saying.
