Why are we consistently talking about how bad our o-line is every season?

Don't we basically have 2 offensive linemen coaches? (DeBord has always taught it)

Is it possible that he's teaching older fundamentals that could be considered out dated? Is it our block scheme?

It's technique. Whenever they showed linemen drills they always block with their shoulders with some weird waddle. If they learn instead to use their hands they would be 10x better. They're scared of getting holding calls though. That's another reason why dlinemen get past them.

Let's just see how they do next week! I mean, it's only been one game. They stunk it up, but we won. Let's just see if it was a bad night or if it is the same ole same ole!

Alabama's D-Line said we were the most physical O-Line they faced last year...called us the best they played. So...let's all just chill. I think with this scheme timing and rhythm is really important and we didn't have any last night.

That's not correct. His last coaching job was the 2012 Chicago Bears.

True, but calling plays was 07', 3 yards and cloud of dust just doesn't work, 1.7 yards average on 1st down if you take out the play to Malone for TD, unacceptable
