You've seen statements about our culture and getting recruits who are a good fit. This is what they recruit. Talent and character are coachable. Minimize locker room issues as much as possible. Liked Tayven when here. Felt bad when he got hurt and minimized his chances.

I think it's pretty clear he's saying he left a better place coaching/development wise. And Cade Mays came back home because Kirby is a liar and a cheat.

I actually looked into their depth chart and I'm a bit confused. It looks like Tayven is tee'd up to be the starter, but it's between him and another kid.

But they have a guy who was the starter at the end of last year but go injured, but his name is nowhere to be found. Still injured I suppose?

This is why I thought it would have been a good idea for him to stick around one more year. Get another year of really solid coaching and if you can’t win the starting job, go elsewhere and ball tf out. Hopefully one year with Halzle/Heupel and co. was enough and he balls out anyway.
