Unfortunately I think we end up playing against him at some point. He is really talented and I could see him blow up at Indiana and transfer back to the SEC as a grad transfer.

or he could just get drafted? lol.

He was a heck of a prospect. But he knew Nico was legit. And so is Merk.

Tayven is a good kid and I hope he develops there at IU.

I actually looked into their depth chart and I'm a bit confused. It looks like Tayven is tee'd up to be the starter, but it's between him and another kid.

But they have a guy who was the starter at the end of last year but go injured, but his name is nowhere to be found. Still injured I suppose?

I think it's pretty clear he's saying he left a better place coaching/development wise. And Cade Mays came back home because Kirby is a liar and a cheat.
This is why I thought it would have been a good idea for him to stick around one more year. Get another year of really solid coaching and if you can’t win the starting job, go elsewhere and ball tf out. Hopefully one year with Halzle/Heupel and co. was enough and he balls out anyway.
