Taylor "The Glove" Brown is one of the premier high school point guards in the country, playing for the powerhouse program at Long Island Lutheran (LuHi) in New York. A standout in the Class of 2027, she is a pass-first floor general highly regarded for her lockdown defense and explosive playmaking.

That's actually an interesting personality trait diagnostic thought.

That "chip on the shoulder, prove myself to the watching world" inner drive might manifest most clearly when confronted with the challenge of recovering from injury. I'm guilty of usually thinking of secondary traits as negatives, like responding to stressors with anxiety or phobias.
But "grit" would say stressors can just as well reveal strengths. Cool if true!

That is a great program to get a player from. They have produced a lot of D-1 college players over the last 3 years. Imagine competing against D-1 talent every day in high school just to get playing time on your high school basketball team. Here are just a few:
Class of 2026

  • Sanai Green: Duke
  • Emily McDonald: Uncommitted / Undecided [1, 2]

Banks and Brown are reuniting for their senior years. They played together as freshmen in their hometown in Delaware before splitting up to go to prep schools out of state. Cece is the daughter of Michigan head coach Barnes Arico.

That’s a lot of quality guards! Only one ball
