Tavis Hogsett LB prospect

LB Tavis Hogsett Central-Merry High Jackson, TN.

I saw this guy's name in a Tennessean article a while back as a likely recruiting target for the Vols. He's 6'3 and 220. Now I've been reading some posts on RTN about how this guy is supposedly better and faster than Chris Donald. Is there anything to this or maybe some pre-emptive spinning in case CD commits to ND next week? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on Hogsett. He is 4A All State and he shows up on a few long lists of the state's top prospects. Anyone got any scoop?

I think grades may be an issue. We are only gonna take 1 or 2 LBs in this class and I've heard that Hogsett, along with Chris Walker, will end up as a DE.

Everybody is certain that Donald is coming and Lord knows I hope he does, I'm just not certain it's a done deal. ND walks them around under touchdown Jesus and anything can happen. Plus ND has the mo right now.
