Microsuck getting desperate to sell XBones - $329 per unit vs. PS4 at $399

I wouldn't necessarily say "desperate" as Xbox One sales are outpacing 360 sales at this same point in the console's life. The X1 is selling fine. It's just that PS4 is selling at such an insanely record pace that it makes the X1 seem like it's struggling. However it's clear that MS wants to win November pretty badly in the US, for no other reason than perception. They have been outsold by PS4 on their home turf month over month pretty much since both consoles have launched and the gap is widening.

Sales results for November are going to be very interesting and it wouldn't surprise me to see the X1 as the #1 selling console in the US for this month with all the black friday deals. However if they do outsell the PS4 I don't think it will be by a very large margin as there are some pretty amazing PS4 bundles available as well.

I admit I like some of the features and pros of the xbox 360/One. But I can easily see why the ps4 is winning the battle.

Atleast for me this is the case. The ps1, ps2 were where it was when my generation was a kid. I'm 21 so right at the peak of the first two play stations I was the perfect age to really get into gaming. Grew up with that. The xbox was the only thing that finally came out for Microsoft but it was already behind because play station had built a fan base.

I love owning both consoles, though admittedly I have gamed way more on my PS4. Both have strengths and weaknesses and both bring something a little unique to the table. I like the X1's multimedia functionality, their network, and the voice commands with the Kinect. I like PS4's exclusives, user interface, and controller better. Graphically, while on paper the PS4 is more powerful I feel like it's a complete wash. Both systems perform well and produce great looking games.

Exclusives, User Interface, and controller ---> PS4

Multimedia, voice commands, and Network ---->X1

Performance/graphics ----->Tie.

Now if Nintendo would hurry up and go 3rd party and get their games on the other 2 consoles, gaming life would be perfect! :)
