Honestly, a few years into the league now and he just doesn't seem to be able to figure it out. Understanding defenses is his issue. Good athlete, not great. Great arm but is inconsistent with his accuracy and just can't figure out the reads pre or post snap

Well I guess he's guaranteed never to make that 13 or 15 million now. I'd tell him to take a hike and give someone else a shot, someone who's interested in doing the job. 7 million dollars a year isnt enough to chase someone around a football field 30 minutes a week.
