I remember when the recruiting of this class was first cranking up and everybody was getting stoked over having 6, then 8, then 10, etc. of good quality. Then when we thought it had to slow down it kicked in again with even better. They topped the 20 mark and everybody started acting concerned that we may not have enough spots for the Big Fish. Now we have two Big Fish and a few more that should be and are still recruiting a couple more.
The other talk was that there was no way they could stay ranked in the Top 5 on Rivals, that the numbers just would not work out, but we should be happy with a Top 10 ranking considering the state of the program. Nearly everybody thought that would be great. Now look at Bama and our ratings and you know for a fact that if the analysts weren't bending over for Bama that the Vols class would be way out ahead. When this thing finishes up this class could have 20+ 4 and 5*. In reality it already does as there are a handful of 3s that should be 4s anyway, which will prove out when they hit the field.
All I've got to say is thanks, Butch & staff. Looking forward to signing day. Let's get these puppies trained up to do battle. Time for a new sheriff in the SEC.
