Of course in a perfect world we beat both, and honestly after the way we played against LSU it's a real possibility. However for the sake of the thread you gotta pick one.

I know it's not as easy as I'm making it but again for the sake of the thread lets say we win out against all other SEC teams.

Option 1=Would you rather lose to Bama and continue the horrible drought against Bama, but beat UGA and we make the SEC Championship game due to owning the tie breaker cause lets be honest UGA schedule is so soft and they aren't losing to anyone other than us.

Option 2=Beat Bama and finally end the drought of 15 years and finally shut Bama up. but we lose to UGA and will need UGA to lose to two other SEC schools just for us to make the SEC Championship game.

I ask this because it is a huge possibility this is what plays out. I also say this because we shouldn't have any pressure Saturday. It's just the next game. If we lose to Bama we have to move past it and continue to improve and have a understanding that the UGA game is going to be for the East Crown!! I'm taking Option 1

That goes back to my feeling that things have changed and the diehard, old school fans can't get over it. I would rather play them in Atlanta than play them in October because playing them in October may mean we don't get to Atlanta. If we beat them in October and make it to Atlanta, then we may face them again. Who would want to play them for nothing and then lose to them when it's for something?

Beat Bama more than UGA. Atleast in an 11-1 scenario with a loss to UGA, we are a shot for the playoff if UGA wins the league title. That means Bama would be 11-2. Since we beat them, we’d have committee tie breaker over them.

There are essentially 6 teams vying for the 4 spots and it’s very likely SEC gets two teams.

SEC Champ
Big Ten Champ (Whoever wins Michigan vs Ohio State game)
Clemson (Look to be back on track to run through ACC)
SEC At Large (SEC Title loser or 11-1 team that didn’t make Atlanta)

TCU/Okie State will not be in the playoff. Don’t expect them to be undefeated at season’s end.

Honestly I didn't even think about not making the SEC Championship and still getting in lol. Touche!

If our only loss is Georgia, we want them to win the sec title. That means they are undefeated league champ. Also means like West team, Bama, would have two losses if we end regular season 11-1.

I feel very comfy in saying SEC gets two teams in the playoff this year.

Old school here. But, beat Ga. And, then demolish Bama in the SEC championship game rematch!

Lose bama, beat uga, then whip bama in the rematch at the conference championship game. but if I’m honest, I think we have a better than average chance of beating both.

There was a bit of sincerity and nerves in Saban when asked about Tennessee I’ll take that all day

I think option two is more likely beat Alabama lose to Georgia go 11-1 and play in the Cotton Bowl,Sugar Bowl or Orange Bowl.

Beat both. Bama drops a game to Ole Miss and we get a rematch with Kiffin in the SECCG. Not likely but one can hope
