Take the Vols -7 early before it goes up

What is a good service to use? I'm not much for gambling but I think I might give it a try this year.

I know a lot of Gator fans are betting on UCLA because they just believe We are horrible this year and no matter how badly UCLA is beat up that they will beat Us...Told You Florida fans weren't the brightest match in the box.

Could it be because the majority of the early bets are on UCLA and the points?

Normally you would think that, but in this case, with all the injuries to UCLA I just can't see the betting public putting close to even money on both sides. Unless some insanely rich UCLA fans are throwing away their fortunes.

I use oddmakers and sportbook.com

Just place my first 2 bets of the year
4 team parlay
TN-7
Clemson-5
Louisville -3 half
USC -19
for 100 pays 1100 if all win

Also a 2 bills on us -7

I am actually skipping my first week parlay this year. I really don't need to be gambling this season anyways. If I were to do one, it would certainly include these games

Memphis @ OLE MISS -9
Utah @ MICHIGAN -4
TENNESSEE -7
@ UCLA

Hey Vol,
This is one Gator fan who posted on this site this week to jump all over UT. I was able to get them at 6 1/2 earlier this week on SportingBetUSA.com. I totally expect you guys to win by 14-17pts.

Out of curiosity, if i bet 100 on Tennessee -7, and win, I get my 100 back and 100 more? Not sure how this works.

Where are you guys getting it at 7? It's been 8- for a week now on the site I use, BetUS.com. If you can get it at 7, bet the farm, load the wagon, and buy the 1/2 point.

You pay juice if you win? Back in the day, my experience was you only payed juice if you lost.

What other reason could it be for the line staying at ~7-8?

Wouldn't they move the line over the 7-8 if the money was leaning towards the Vols?

BetUS had the the line at -5 at the start of July. I bit on that real quick even though it is breaking the rule of betting on my team

Reason the line hasnt moved that much: LA teams get alot of action (bettors) it doesnt matter if they're any good or not.

It's not that you pay the juice, you just don't win an amount equal to your initial bet.

Aren't the two the same? The way I see it, you are paying the juice because it's being taken out of your winnings.

In other words, a bunch of homers (huge population in SoCal) who don't know jack, and really couldn't care less, about football are the ones tossing the $.

Emainvol touched on that too in his response to my question.

Makes sense.

The bookie I use, I don't put anything up unless I lose. I call him and tell him I want to put a hundred on X team, they win, he gives me my hundred. I lose, I give him 110.
