Get rid of NIL. Scholarships should mean something.

Otherwise separate the teams from the school and embrace the minor league structure.

Everyone too afraid to tell their kids no

What’s the dumb overreaction? No one should be discussing this with that QB on the morning of the O&W game. That’s the dumb part.

Everything you suggested is a dumb overreaction. Just because something is true (we shouldn’t be discussing this now), doesn’t mean any of your ignorant suggestions are justified

That’s entirely your opinion. Why is it dumb? I’ve given a reason for my suggestion. No names is harder to profit off of an individual. That’s what led us to this stupid transfer situation.

Why is that dumb? Are you not able to articulate your ideas and have a conversation?

The reasons why is it dumb are almost too numerous to list here, but one of the main ones and most obvious is an inability to compete. So if you want be Vanderbilt or worse, sure we could just completely eliminate NIL.

It won’t stop anyone else from using NIL. Our product we be even worse than the Dooley years. But we could do it

Getting rid of NIL across the board would keep it even. TN has historically competed since football’s inception. I don’t think we need NIL to be good.

Edit: I wasn’t suggesting only we get rid of NIL. Axe it for all.

Lol NIL isn’t going away. And if it isn’t going away, taking names off jerseys and refusing to promote our players only hurts us.

So once again: dumb overreaction is both dumb and an overreaction

Well I think if we as a society did both it would make the game better. But you’re just being an ignorant ******* and missing the point. I can’t help that. I know the internet is an interesting place and in the right setting you’d get punched in the mouth talking like that to me in person.

Good day and GO VOLS

Does any school not put names on?
I think Notre Dame. At least for a long time I know they didn’t.

Edit; oops. Saw your photo you posted further down the thread. Don’t recall when that changed. I know Lou Holz had taken the names off when he got there.
