Take Kiffin back? There is a precedent at UT...

I was a student at UT when Doug Dickey spurned us for Florida. The fan base was just as butt hurt (especially losing the bowl game to the Gators) as when Kiffin left. Yet we eventually took him back as AD, which was a great hire.

Am I campaigning for CLK to return? No, but he would be a hell of a better coach the some of the names of some of the old washed up has-beens like Petrino, Miles and others getting tossed around here.

If it was Kiffin or Butch, I'd take Kiffin all day.

A good cheap hire that u could give a insanely crazy leave buyout to and could potentially be worth way more then u have to pay him

If Kiffin is really our best option after all the sh*t he's done to our program, we are in worse shape than I thought.

I never thought he was worth a damn. Kiffin didn't screw up the program. Dooley did.

Kiffin would not be in my top 10 admittedly.

Kiffin leaving us hanging out to dry resulted in us hiring Dooley in the first place.

Lane Kiffin HC coaching record:
TN - 7-6
USC - 28-17
FA - 2-3

He had 1, 10 win season......nothing else better than a 5 loss season, he has been to 2 bowl games and lost them both.

So what has Kiffin ever done as a HC

Butch Jones is a .624 coach
Kiffin is .607

He beat FSU last year like they were an FCS school.
He turned a 3* QB into a run away Heisman winner.
Took the eventual national champs to the wire last year.
Only loss this year is to the defending national champs...

I'm not defending him in any way, but I don't think you can really judge what he does this year at FA.
