On that I'll agree; that the coastal region is pristine and the overall vernacular is pleasant. The Civil War is still being fought down here and the cultural divide has turned the whole state, including my very much liked Charleston, into a crime enigma. Thinking about it, I'll stick to my opinion.Excuse me sir, South Carolina is not the "scum pit of America". Granted, I will give you Columbia as a the scummiest of scum pits, the coastal region and the upstate are both awesome.
If the Vols can dominate on the glass then 3's are their only hope, and I think Richardson's and McCrae's long arms and quickness are going to cause more misses than Texas was able to force. If UM's in the zone out there, though, it'll be tough. Poignant---that Duke hit all those 3's and lost. If the Vols play with as much passion as the last three games, I think it'll be OK.Hope their cold from the 3-line ala Duke
I haven't noticed overconfidence from these posts. The overall agreement is that UM's 3's need to be bothered enough to be rendered at least slightly ineffective. Beilein's gotta' be smart enough to have his guys working the inside agressively; which would include piling fouls on Stokes, as well as doing extra homework on hard screens to free up open 3's. I concur that this will be a tough matchup regardless of GR3's effectiveness. Not sure why everyone is so confident in this game. Beilein can coach with the best of them and the trio of Stauskus, LaVert, and GR3 will be a very tough matchup. My hope is GR3 doesn't get involved as when he is on Michigan can be a top 5 team, but usually he is happy just going through the motions. I've watched each of these teams all year and can say TN will have a definite advantage inside, but for Tn to win they'll need one or two of the big 3 to have a bad shooting day.
No need to worry too much about Michigan, in the long run.
Have you noticed that much of the population of that state is moving south? The crime is high. The taxes are high. The un employment is high. The weather is cold. The liberal democrats have destroyed that state.
Everyone is leaving N.Y., California, Ohio & Michigan for the low un employment, good weather, low crime, low tax southern republican states........
In a few short years, North Dakota will have a bigger population than the state of Michigan.
Yep. SC's governor has been firing everyone..........and I mean EVERYONE.......who isn't one of her business cronies. Not political cronies, even; business buddies, and the state's infrastructure ranks near the bottom nationwide. The speed traps are the worst anywhere, with the feds after some towns for extorting out-of-state drivers. I think our buddy supporting this giant trailer park is a Clemson grad, which is, indeed, a beautiful campus located in a pretty little town. The rest of the state.............?? What's important, though, is the fact that gamechicken fans hate the UT Vols, as if these goobers had some reason to. In WBB; the lady cocks beat the beavers the other night. Whatta' hoot! Let's beat 'em in baseball this weekend.:3cheers:South Carolina's education rankings disagree. At least in Florida you get entertainment with the stupidity.
Whoa! Strong reaction, there. Personally, I don't hate them, and I live in South Carolina, which is the scum pit of America, so let's try to consider there are good and bad places to live all over America. I agree with Tennkook. The team with the fewest mistakes and which takes better advantage of fouls will come out on top. scUM? Really?

I'll take Richardson on that matchup. I think a big plus the Vols have demonstrated of late is the distance our guards can go out to pressure the shooters, due in large part to Stokes' and Maymon's extra energy inside, which has lowered the roll off points just a bit-----but just a bit equals a few points not made by opponents; more offensive boards for UT; adjusted strategies by other guys to either shoot or penetrate. All in all-----the energy's been upped in line with the (minus one w/Fla) win streak. Make sense?:salute:Richardson vs. Stouskas (sp)--key matchup. Richardson is a helluva defender and will need to be in this game. Bring it, big fella!
