Tailgate but no game?

How many people go to tailgates, but do not attend the game? As for me, I have never attended a tailgate but merely attend the game.

There are quite a few. I usually keep a TV set up at my tailgate and always have friends who watch from the parking lot, especially for bigger games where tickets are more expensive

It’s a surreal atmosphere outside of the stadium after the games get going. Very calm and quiet with that noisy, rowdy atmosphere contained inside of Neyland just steps away.
