I believe that's the international version which only supports 3G the United States, not LTE 4G.Just checked google shopping, looks like office max has an unlocked gsm note 2 for $600
Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 16GB GSM Unlocked Android Cell Phone (Gray)
I was lucky to get a bike when I turned 9. A tablet? For real? They wonder why this nation is getting lazy
My library allows renting books on a Kindle. Pretty cool.![]()
It's the wave of the future. I used to work for a large book company whose main business involves being a book wholesaler, and over the past few years business for that part of the business has declined a good deal. Luckily for them (and Vanderbilt, I guess), they've done a good job of getting their hands in the digital book business.
Did you watch television when you were 9? Play a video game console? Use a phone? Use a computer? Ride in a car? Ride in an airplane? If you answered yes to any of these, I guess you're just lazy...
That's essentially what you're arguing.
My 3 year old has been using an ipad for well over a year. He knows exactly what he is doing on it. He watches Dinosaurs videos and reads short stories on it. Also plays counting, puzzle and abc games.
Kid can already count to 10 and add and subtract basic numbers. IMO if your kid isnt using a tablet, they are falling behind

Riding in the back seat of a car vs. having my own tablet. You're right, I was so spoiled. Great argument.
So I see the point went over your head. Good to know.
You're arguing that buying a tablet for a 9 year old is a sign that our nation is becoming lazy, yet with all of the other examples I cited available to children/people (and probably you, for that matter) for years.
Your argument is asinine.
