Tauren has recently had a talk with Lane Kiffin and has made the decision to stay.

Poole will be the leader All purpose yards next year. Something tells me he will have the Hardesty attitude. He will show the coaches and VN how good he is. Kesling " Boy he runs hard".

:dance2: good to hear. I really like this kid. Next year I think he'll get a better chance to show what he's got

I would like to see him in the return game. Vol version of Arenas/james anyone?

Another thing this does is takes away any pressure there might have been to sign another RB in this year's recruiting class. If we can get a top back, we'll certainly take another. But with Brown/Oku/Poole/Williams we will be ok at RB depth next year. One more scholarship that we can use on positions of real need (again, unless we can get a really top tier back, which we would take).

this is GREAT news. we need leaders and we all know poole is underrated. I hope he gets his shot (b/c he plays well, not b/c of injuries of course)

Tauren Poole will receive a substantial amount of carries next year. Bryce Brown will not be a full-timer, as 1) he is injury-prone; and 2) he hasn't quite learned to break enough tackles.

I feel the RB competition is wide open.

BB injury prone? This nagging hip injury is the first time he's ever been hurt. Perhaps you should research things before you comment on them.

Your second assertion is just plain wrong.

I have said all year that I would rather have Poole and T. Williams than any high school RB out there. This is excellent news. Both of these kids play with their hearts and I expect both of them to be successful.

Thank you Tauren! You saw what this staff did for Hardesty. Now it is your turn to turn up the heat.

Did you just quote Bob? Bryce and Oku will carry the load.
