We looked awful good tonight. Best of all Chris Lofton didn't have to score 30 to keep us in the game because we have more options now. Apparently we are peaking at the right time this year too, something that Florida did last year. We now have the best RPI of any team in the SEC after tonight's win... What kind of seed do we get and how far do we get in the tournament?

I think that if we beat UGA and make a run in the SEC tourney then we could be looking at a 4 seed. I would be shocked if we were any worse than a 8 seed. As for how far we make it in the tourney, it will all depend on the seeding and the match-ups.

I don't think we are any worse than a 6 at this point.

I think it depends on what we do against UGA and in the SEC tourney. If we fall on our faces after the success we have had then we could be looking at a 7 or 8. Maybe we will be shocked(in a good way) again this year like we were last year when we received the 2 seed.

Even if we lose our last two, with our big wins and RPI I think we get a 6. Another win or two and it might be higher. I guess we'll see.

Hope your right, but you know how everyone is out to get Tennessee.:p Personally, I think the selection commitee shoud give us another 2 seed so we can show that last year was a fluke.

Actually, our performance last year as a #2 seed is the thing that worries me the most.

With an RPI of 7, and a SOS of 3, if we beat UGA and win a couple of games in the SEC tourney, I could see us getting a 3 or 4 seed.

I think we'll finish 3rd in the SEC East and that would probably put us at playing against LSU in the first round...tough draw huh? If we win that we'd play Ole Miss or Miss. State I think so we have a chance to win 3 games and that would be huge for us now.

With 6 wins over Top 25 teams and at least 9 conference wins, I think the worst seed we get is 7, and that's only if UT loses to Georgia and LSU (?) in the first round of the SECT.

I'm calling it now - 5 seed.

it's not a ticker, man.

Lanardi'll update it on sunday or monday, which if we beat georgia expect to see anything as high as a 4 and no lower than a 6.

Hope you're right. This win defidently helps national recognition and respect.

You don't want anything to do with that team, I'm telling you.

Where is the RPI you are looking at?

CBSsportsline has Florida with a 10 RPI, Kentucky 11, and UT 14.

I'm gonna say a 5 seed. Only thing that worries me is how we've played on the road. If every game was at TBA I'd go ahead an give us the Siemen's trophy.
