Do you think this result would be the same or do we blow them out? I honestly think we took them lightly and were looking ahead to the B@B.

I feel if we swapped them, we destroy Appy...

But let's take nothing away from Appy, they punched us right in the mouth and made us like it. I'm just glad we won.

I don't think anyone is going to 'destroy' Appy St. this year.

They were looking ahead to Bristol though.

We were dominated physically last night, and I can't believe I am typing these words. I don't know if we pull it out if we play them again.

It was a perfect storm for disaster IMO. App State had played big named teams and wasn't intimidated obviously. I think the looking ahead, the costly mistakes, momentum immediately going to App State,and their coaching staff having an excellent game plan contributed. I think we destroy them if this game is week 2. You could say Butch got out coached last night. The team that wanted it more lost. App State is a great team. Its just amazing we pulled the win off. Last year's team would have lost this game.

I know one thing......I hope App State beats the **** out of Miami in a couple weeks. A lot of football pundits are thinking they will. :clapping:

I hope the air got let out of those big heads. They thought they were gonna roll their helmets out there and App state would lay down.

Appalachian State may very well lose only one more game this season and it would be to Miami, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they were to beat them. That was a better team than a lot of people were thinking until they seen it on the field.

No doubt on looking ahead. I think it was a combination of that and the guys thinking just showing up last night would be enough to win.

Yeah no one is destroying App. App will do the destroying. Including Miami.
