I believe the marquee matchup for the Florida game will be which Wide receiving core can get open. So my question is which corner is the all around better player and who will have the biggest impact on the outcome of the game? I believe Sutton is the all around better player, but that's just me.

Sutton is a man. Tabor is just a spoiled brat who can't seem to keep his mouth shut even if his life depended on it. Sutton is by far the better player and he doesn't néed to trash talk to get attention.

Very good chance that Tabor will not even play in that game. He seems to be a cancer in the Florida locker room... gimme Sutton every time.

Sutton covers the other team's main WR. Tabor has been known to typically cover the WR3. Sure, VH3 was covering the main WR, usually. Let's see how good Tabor is this season now that it's his secondary

Thats one battle that I will be watching very closely. I have a feeling several of the Vol players will be looking to take a shot at him

I just hope Tabor can stop getting high long enough to not be suspended for this years game.

And he is suspended for the season opener because he got in a fight with a team mate.:eek:lol:

If you really want to be objective:

Tabor is a little longer and better in press coverage
Sutton is a little faster and brings the return element as well.
Tabor probably grades out better for the NFL, athletically

However, as someone else posted Tabor is a locker room cancer, and, in my opinion, that makes him(Sutton, edited for clarification) the better player in the long run.

Cam Sutton's sophomore season is the single greatest individual season I've ever seen from a UT player.

I know you are sitting here thinking that is ridiculous or hyperbole and I expect to get some flak for it, but hear me out...

You can research it yourself.

Go back and watch the defensive plays from that season. Count the amount of yards he allowed.

I'm telling you now, it is almost unfathomable ...and I don't know why more people didn't talk about it

Tabor has made more All-SEC and All-American teams than Sutton.

Sutton probably is more valuable to our team than Tabor is to his.

If both entered draft at same time, Tabor would probably get the nod first.

His soph year was amazing but part of that was the QB going "should I throw towards the good corner or the bad one, I'll throw towards the bad one". Also Sutton was starting to get talked up about being a true shut down corner then the Bama game happened where they burned us on 2 go routes to open the game. Sutton had the coverage on the 2nd TD and he got blown by. That's when the chatter died down

I haven't seen Tabor play enough to judge. With all the issues off the field that have kept him off the field I would lean toward Cam. With Cam you know what you are getting, a hard hitting, team leading, WR covering, All American punt returning Volunteer. With Tabor you get a dope smoking, team mate fighting, loud mouth team distractor. Tough choice maybe we should ask Homer J super mommy.

He would go literally, multiple games in a row without allowing a completion...

Cam has looked great his whole career IMO except maybe against Ridley Bama game. Also Randolph made a great D play on the long pass in UGA game at the end of game were Cam let his man get behind him.

I think Cam > Tabor and will go higher in Draft.

I asked Dane Brugler, CBS draft analyst, on Twitter if he thought Cam Sutton was a first rounder. He said this:

"Not for me. Solid player, but needs to show me some things as a senior."

This was after he said Tabor is the best CB in college football.

Tabor has better reach and is the king of trash talking (Ali want-a-be) but has a glass jaw.

Sutton has Mike Tyson brawler mentality, with Mayweather punching precision, Foreman's power punches, Rocky Balboa's toughness and Ali's Footwork.

Sutton in 4 rounds or less. Book it!

To me, the hype around Tabor is similar to David Amerson that used to play for NC St. He was a preseason AA and I was at the game where we torched him. I counted at least 4 times he got beat and they were for huge gains or TDs. Tabor will be the same way.
