Hurd, Dobbs, and Kamara are the 3 headed monster.

But how good is Cam...?

I've not played Video games in probably 7 years or so. But Cam Sutton is like a real life version of that player you substitute in all of your formations (offense and defense, pr, kr) until the character just gets worn out... and then the game auto subs him lol.

He was a force in every single aspect of the game he he participated in Saturday. And you know what?? He has ALWAYS been that way.

He so so good. It's crazy how complete he is at CB. And then his return skills... my goodness.

I've not seen that type of impact since... Tyran Matheu...

He's a vicious.... vicious hitter
He's a lockdown defender
He's a dangerous return man.

He excels at everything!

He's quite possibly the best player in the conference ...

Definitely the most natural athletic talent we have on the team. Should be a top 15 draft pick.

We better enjoy him this year because he has 1st round NFL Draft talent written all over him.

Yeah! I would say he is...

He's the best we've ever had at CB
At least he is CLEARLY the best I have seen since i've followed UT (1994?)

Cam is one of the best corners I've seen in Orange and White in a long time. It is amazing that he was a 3 star afterthought coming in. He can cover, hit, jam, tackle like a BOSS plus he is dangerous in the return game.

I would have to agree that he is the best pure corner I've seen in decades in Knoxville. Berry is still the best all around DB I've seen in my time.

Cam may be the best player on the team. I know he is certainly a leader, he is what you want in a player, his focus is on the task at hand. You also don't hear of any off the field issues. I think he will have a long pro career, he also seems like a kid who may come back for a Sr. year. I couldn't blame him if he left for 1st round money though.

Can might be the best cb in the nation. Best true corner I can ever recall playing at ut

Please don't forget Dale Carter, same skill set with return ability and World Class Speed. For what it's worth the always humble T.O said he was the Best he ever went against.

Another example of why the recruiting stars generally don't mean anything.

If he were to do that- come back. He would solidify himself as one of the best players in UT history.

-Peyton
- Berry
- White
- Wilson
- Atkins
- Sutton

There would be no "slump" He just plays ball.
If you played him offense any at all, he would make an impact there.

Alright... i'm done :hi:

For all the younger whipper snappers, Tennessee had an All American defensive back in the late 70's named Roland James. Later played for New England in the NFL. Cornerback, Strong Safety, Nickel Back. He could do it all and do it well.

If we had a team award for best football player--you know, like our own Heisman but without all the politics and regional parochialism--it would go to Cam.

The man can flat out play football.

Next after him is Jalen Hurd. Ethan Wolf and Josh Dobbs and Alvin Kamara and TK Jr and JRM and Derek Barnett and several of these other sophomores and freshmen who are still establishing their identities, they're all in the discussion after Hurd and Sutton.

But #1 in 2015, this month, right now, today, and probably for the season to come, is Cam.

Don't get me wrong, I like him as a PR, but let me see him do against somebody besides Vandy or BG.
