Suspensions of key players for big games - yay or nay?

I know we've had discipline problems as of late, but it really irks me to see key players -- indispensable players, actually -- get suspended for games like Florida and Cal. This has happened a number of times in the past and I am just wondering how we balance getting our best guys in the game with managing discipline on the team.

Without getting into too many details, I was the reason a very key player was suspended while I was at UT. As mad as I was about what caused the suspension, I would have rather seen him play, given how much we needed him for a victory.

Whaddya guys think?

true, but i guess i am used to it. i tutored the players back in the day and used to get those types of questions all the time. while i became pretty good friends with some of my students, they shared far too much for me to ever be interested in them in "that" way.

Nor do I take kindly to being reprimanded by you. VolFreak made a mention of it and that is fine. He runs the place. He can tell me what to do. I apologized (and I meant it). But don't act like you have some moral high ground over me.

Well, as some learn that your avatar pic is actually you, there'll likely be a few choice remarks from some rowdy ole' football fans, but you seem more than confident enough to look out for yourself; wasn't trying to be a digital bodyguard, but I think it's nice to see females around the board, and I guess I just don't want anyone to spoil it? :salute:

Thanks. I LOVE it! As if I needed another place to waste my time, lol! I MUST forget about this board when I have to start billing or else I am gonna get fired before I finish my first three months.

I appreciate that. I love the sports talk, so you'll see me here again. And probably often. As far as the pic, well, it probably does me too much justice. I'm just a girl -- not quite the sexpot that appears in the pic. It was mostly a joke -- a costume I put together in about 15 mins for Halloween last year. There's a little cheerleader skirt and croptop you can't really see in the pic.

Wow I know exactly the suspension. I think, paper plagiarism? 4 players--I think a school and team has to suspend players if they are not behaving appropriately but as far as school activity. I say give them and A or give them more money they have earned it.
