So if there is a time that Peyton manning is coming to UT as a QB coach, now seems like a pretty good time. Just sayin

Would this be a good move volnation? Would this change your perception of coach Jones for those that want him fired?

Don't ever want Peyton as a coach here, in any capacity. Let him continue to have influence behind the scenes, let him continue to be a super fan and an ambassador for the program and university imo.

IF he is a blackburn guy I wish he would make a lot of noise and demand ut blood.

Hiring a guy with no coaching experience while you're on the hot seat is beyond risky. Hiring a guy who is so beloved that no one will ever blame him if he fails is potential suicide.

Shula, Dubose, and Curry disagree with you, sometimes you can't go home. No love there.

Never happening.

He doesn't want the fans to turn on him he'd rather be remembered for what he did for the program

It would be fine if Peyton elected to drop in on Tennessee to work informally with QBs from time to time. I do not see him joining the coaching staff.

I think it would be a good move to talk to him and get his feelings..I would like to see him as OC tho..He has the best offensive mind in football and I do believe he would be a great OC...

If you think Manning would be insulated from criticism you're insane. Just think what would happen to fan sentiment if he went 0 for Florida again for any length of time.
