Y’all are clearly heading in the right direction. Had an 8 game win streak which has to be the longest in over a decade, right? Maybe longer? Your QB situation isn’t great you just went up against the best D in the country.

We pounded Auburn’s ass from start to finish and they were supposed to be Top 10. Y’all clearly played better.

Think y’all beat Florida at the end of the season for that signature win.

Edit - apparently y’all had a longer streak under Butch but I’d venture to say the overall talent level now is superior to the one back then. Your Oline was a turnstile under Butch.

You had me in total agreement until that part about UF.
They're not good on D, but ... I can't believe it til I see it. We are to them as UK is to us. Saddens me to say.

Because he continues to run out the same terrible QB for the 3rd year straight. Because our 5 star o line got decimated. Because we still dont do simple little things that good teams do. Because we are 0-7 against our 3 bigger rivals and cant get within 3 scores.

Butch’s assistants had their hands tied down due to his incompetent offense.

Pruitt’s assistants have their hands tied down due to an incompetent QB who keeps making freshman mistakes 3 years into the system.

Both refused to make a change and that scares me about Pruitt.

If we beat Florida the same ppl asking for Pruitt’s ans JGs head will petition to build statues to them. That being said. I really want a “game we’re not supposed to win,” win. That’s the signature win I want. If it’s Florida even better.

Incompetent QB as you say is an easier fix than an entire offensive philosophy.

Is Mauer or whatever his name is definitely better? Bailey will be good but he likely doesn’t know the offense yet due to lack of spring ball. Playbook would be limited with him. Perhaps that’s why.

Maurer is better at certain aspects then JG, but is a gunslinger and will probably turn the ball over. Which Pruitt doesnt like. Also he was out most of fall camp with a hamstring injury so not sure how healthy he is. Lastly some of our media guys who get to see practice has said the Maurer has a hard time keeping the O ahead of the chains in practice.

I am to the point of, “who cares?” It does not matter how well you recruit if you undermine the team with bad coaching decisions.
