We gotta go to Rupp, Columbia and the ODome. it is very possible we lose all 3 of those. however if that happens i dont think we fall to 4th. All of the 4 losses Florida has at this point are to East division teams which for The SEC tournament seeding after overall conference record comes head to head tie breakers then divison record. so need to beat KY to split series if we want to stay in division winning contention but more importantly sweeping South carolina would almost assuredly give us at the very least the second seed and a first day bye at the SEC Tourney. So GO VOLS!

Gotta beat Kentucky. Until we do, nothing else matters. I grew up in Kentucky a Tennessee fan. Lived in Richmond, 15 miles south of lexington. NOBODY hates Kentucky more than i do. :) Gotta win this one.

We just lost at Ole miss with them having 2 of their starters out. We didn't just lose, we got spanked.

So I'd say considering Kentucky has our number even when we are better, and UT rarely ever plays well at Rupp anyway, that expecting the Vols to pull some great effort out of their behinds for Saturday is quite the orange colored blind optimism.

We have 5 games left and we're STILL talking about the same crap we did in late December. This magicall gelling together, "Bruce will figure it out" and all that is obviously not going to happen. In years the Vols are good they still stopped playing well at postseason time, so there's not much reason to believe it's going to happen this year.

We SHOULD get skulled... but we also shouldn't have lost to auburn and ole miss... Kentucky shouldn't have lost to vandy and VMI and ole miss. Just sayin. Never know.

Where we stand in the SEC East isn't really what I'm worried about. Being atop that division isn't anything to brag about. Lose the rest of our road games, which I think we'll do, and win the remaining 2 home games gives us 18 wins. If we bow out in the first round of the SEC Tourney, then I don't think this team gets in the NCAA Tourney. And the frustrating thing is this team plays like it couldn't care less about being there.

Well I won't say it couldn't happen, but I definitely wouldn't get your hopes up. If the game were at TBA, I'd feel better but we've hardly ever played well at Rupp, and given how much we suck on the road this year, this is probably not the year we suddenly get on fire at Kentucky.

I personally think we'll lose by close to 20 again and that it's going to be pretty bad. I hope I'm wrong.

This team isn't beating kentucky at rupp unless the Vols play their best game of the year. I very much doubt that happens. The Vols have two good but hardly great players, in Chism and Smith--and then after that we have a bunch of average Joes. Guard play and wing play as been very weak all year. The freshman have been just that, and Maze is not aggressive enough, and that's that...Pearl needs to recruit a couple of good guards, among other needs.

Its hard to say. We got in last year with an 18-13 record... but we were 12-4 in the SEC with a HUGE late season run. I think if UT wins their two home games and at least ONE of the road games, they are in the tourney somewhere around a 7-8 seed. Win out and your a 5 or 6. Your RPI and SOS are much better than ours last year when we made it in with 18 wins.

Or, we just all pray like hell each of our teams wins the SEC tourney.
