that 06 Cal game was insane. My favorite UT game I’ve ever been too.

Same. The media was blowing Cal like they could take the Pac10 over USC because of Nate Longshore, Marshawn Lynch, and Desean Jackson… then the opening kickoff happened and their lead blocker in the wedge got knocked out cold. You could hear the hit over the crowd somehow followed by a deafening OOOOOOH.

I’ll never forget hearing an older fan behind me follow that hit with “we’re about to beat the sh!t out of this team”.

We indeed boat raced them all game.
