Sumlin , Kiffin , Martin, Leach , Morris ... all infinitely better options than Doere

How Sumlin or Todd Graham aren't being mentioned is beyond me.

I am not blown away by either one but their resumes are a helluva lot more impressive than Doeren.

I'd take the flier on Morris over Doeren as well.

Even Steele if he can get a good OC.

This "search" is nothing more than a bunch of infighting with one faction pushing their guy regardless of resume then the other when the coach turns down UT.

Sexton is sitting back and dumping his least marketable clients on UT one by one.

Sorry Kevin Steele would be worse than Dooley or Jones, if possible.

Doeren will wreck the program. He is GOD AWFUL. Can they not read. His record is abysmal. Another damn crew cut yankee. This is beyond belief.

Ditto about Steele. Dude is an awful HC but great DC. Kiffin, Leach, Miles, Syrong, Frost, Sumlin, Taggart, Norvell, Martin. There are many coaches out there. Unfortunately, we have the omnipotent Haslam. And that means we go as he goes.

Yes there are some good coaches. amazing how the view changes as the night gets later.
When they originally started it was a D1 champ coach or bust. Then at least won a Divisional Champ, now just a good up and coming coach or even Kiffin who has just won his first championship anywhere. If we can't get Jimbo, I hope they interview Pat Narduzzi. Great resume and Pitt supplied our last great rebuilding coach.

Maybe Steele learned something in the 15 years since he coached Baylor.

Trying to be optimistic here fellas.:unsure:

Just bring Flumer back and start a process to train a new coach. Provide a great staff of coaches that can recruit around him.Coaches that bleed orange/VFL we need to get back to Tennessee football the Tennessee way. This happens with Tennessee people. We have a source in Flumer he has done it. We can put this baby to bed with Flumer starting the process of getting Tennessee football back on the map.I for one would be excited because I know it would work.I'm not saying Flumer long term I'm saying let him start the process for recovery if we can't find a winning coach.

It almost doesn't matter. They don't care any more over there. They are throwing people out of TBA for chanting. They are basically saying f-u, shut up, learn to love it.

I mean....Brady Hoke is better than Doeren. If that's the best we can do, might as well keep Hoke for 2018.

Kiffin knows that he blew it the first time he was here. He could have won big, and would by now be getting NFL job offers. He now realizes his mistake, and knows the current situation could benefit us both.

If he admits his mistake, and wants to be at Tennessee, with all that entails, then I'd welcome him back. We all make mistakes. But he would have to truly want to be here - that's the catch.
