I am about to start building my own cornhole boards for tailgating for this upcoming season. I will also be painting them with some orange and white to show some good Vol Spirit! So does anyone have any good suggestions as to what type of designs I should do? I am up for almost anything as long as it is not too hard!

*****Check post #72 on page 5 if you would be interested in buying any boards to help pay for my school tuition******

I have a set that my wife bought off the internet that looks like a football field, has TENNESSEE in the endzones and the power T at the 50... I would put the checkerboards in the endzone if I had my choice

orange and white diamonds. it's what they had before the johnny-come-lately checkerboards were installed.

I made a set last year that turned out really well and have made a bunch for my friends and sold them. I will get a pic on here asap to show you. I have orange and white checkerboards on the side and front supports, a white top with an orange stripe down the middle, and a Power T towards the bottom below the hole. They are an amazing set of boards, and I look forward to showing them to you.

:eek:lol:, I will get them up here tomorrow. It took me forever to tape, paint the white, re-tape, and paint the orange to do the checkerboards on the front and side supports, but for my own pair of boards it was worth it. So many people commented on them throughout football season last year.

I have also made an Ohio State, North Carolina, and Duke set that all turned out pretty well.

this is the game of cornhole. very similar to horseshoes but portable and a very popular tailgating game.

I love this game...I love any game that you can drink while you play :p. How about the field leading up to a checkerboard at the top...but also put the goal posts on it with the hole in the center of the uprights....

Just wait to see my set before you start making yours. A friend borrowed them for their graduation party, so I should get it back soon, and will get the picture up.

played cornhole last year while tailgaiting-very fun. These can be made cheap. The beanbags/cornbags are the key. I believe you can buy these cheap over the net. The boards are fairly easy to make. Huge markup on ebay.
