Subaru commercial misleading?

The one that shows a totaled car and people saying they lived. Then the family coming out of house getting in new Subaru and the man stating we lived that's why we got another Subaru


I think this is misleading as hell..u could show a real bad totaled NASCAR like the one at the museum that Michael Waltrip wrecked..and say he lived! so fricking what

Then look at Adam Petty's wrecked car..he was killed!


So someone buys a Subaru based on that ad..kids crashes car and is killed car car doesn't look near as bad as the one in the commercial..law suit?

the commercial is creating a huge false sense of security?

A buddy of mine rolled his Volvo 13 times. Granted the car had a cage in it, but he had just a few scratches. Car didn't have a body panel left.

I was always under the impression that volvos's were the safest vehicles.

Not misleading at all. A lady I work with got in a wreck and said the exact same thing about her BMW. Said she'd never drive anything else after walking away from her wreck

Fwiw I like our Subaru

So nobody has ever been killed in a Subaru?

everyone would be okay with someone doing a cigarette commercial where the guy says he smoked 2 packs Winstons for 40 or 50 years and never got cancer or emphysema? So that's why I buy Winston when I go to store!

Why would I have a problem with a guy who smoked for 40 or 50 years who never got cancer, saying he never got cancer?
