Reports going out that we now owe CGS $20,000,000(speculative but possible)

We owe CBJ 8,500,000

We owe current staff 3,500,000 in buyouts.

I see no way Currie survives this and his buyout is 5,500,000

To hire another coach. We have to pay their buyout, 6,000,000

Plus another coaching salary at 5,000,000 per year.

We are pushing 50,000,000 for a year because of the idiocy of the admin.

If this is true you got to fire the guy in charge trying to make the hire, UT admins can’t be this stupid, can they?

The second dumbest part of this is we were going to pay Schiano 20 million dollars for 4 - 5 years when he's making 700K, had no other suitors, and would have no other suitors.

Currie, the supposed money guy, didn't even get the money right.

There will be books written on how a fan base will destroy an athletic program if allowed. The Schiano fiasco is simply a symptom of the disease.

I thought maybe this would be about.

1.) missing out on potential coaches
2.) delays in the recruiting process
3.) time lost
4.) struggle to put together other staff members that will want the job
5.) struggle of head coaches that will be interested in the job
6.) cost of finances from boosters pulling their support

Plenty of items to go with this topic without making things up.

We have like 10 threads on this same subject. People are just creating threads with the same questions and complaints over and over.

Butch hasn’t looked good for years. He needed to be fired (or never hired). He was a terrible coach that just piled more garbage on top of the dumpster fire Dooley left behind —. It smoldered a few years until it erupted into an even bigger 🔥 Fire
