Crompton threw 4 INT's, Fumbled the ball twice, and completed 8 for 23 against Auburn and then finally gets taken out.

Stephens throws his first INT in 5 games and gets taken out immediatly. Our coaching is getting really pathetic, and with the talent we have, it is shameful to have horrible coaching like we do.

I'm pretty sure they put Crompton in so Stephens could calm down....but who knows?

That is what I thought also, Stephens was pissed when he walked off the field. I would have rather seen phil put BJ in not Crompton. Crompton did not look as bad as he did before but he just looks like a deer in headlights everytime he touches the ball.

They wanted Stephens to hustle after the INT.

May be the coaches need to "look at the tape" to see that Nick was on his back after taking a big hit. The DB was 20 yards down field by the time Nick got his nose out or the ear hole on his helmet.

Worst coaching ever.

Crompton's throws were also at the beginning of the season, and they thought he could work through it. We only have 3 games left, their desperate to find something that will work. If you can't understand that, god bless you.

The answer to this is being discussed in just about every thread on here. Clawson pulled Stephens for lack of hustle after the interception and a poor attitude on the sidelines. It was to help calm Stephens down. I thought it to be a good move. I believe Stephens would have made another bad mistake had he came right back in. I just question putting Crompton in instead of Coleman. Id like to see Coleman get his shot.

My thoughts exactly during the game

I would have rather seen Nick come back out with some fire than have him sit on the bench.

I would have loved to hear what he was saying to all the players who came up to him on the bench.
