The claim period for student tickets has been pushed from 3:00 am today to 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm and now to 5:00 pm. Anybody know whats going on?? I imagine that they are having trouble with the new system, who would have thought that?

How dare you question the new system! But really, when I logged on to reserve my ticket Wednesday, I think my IQ went down. This new system is just awful.

I got an email saying I have one but like you said the time keeps going up every 30 minutes.

I have been notified that I received one as well. Just wondering when they will actually let us buy and print them off and stop pushing back the time. I agree Maryville, I think I lost some points on my GPA after going through that process.

It's Lane's fault for telling students on a facebook post to get their tickets today.

I'm glad you all got football tickets, but I didn't. That is about 90% of the reason I chose to pay out of state tuition and go to Tennessee, and I can't get a damn ticket. I am so peeved right now you have no idea. I'm just crossing my fingers non-fans don't claim their tickets in time...

What time did you request your ticket on Wednesday?

12:01 am... plus they said the time you did it didn't matter anyways. I'm an incoming freshman so I don't have any completed credit hours yet, but we went to the soccer game last week to get our points up and so on.

Who knows? I'm sure some people on the waitlist will get a ticket.

Ya, that is BS! You are welcome to join in with my friends, we are all juniors. There is about a group of 8 of us, so there are only a few spots with "our group" seeing how you can only have 12 in a group. I don't know how many people you signed up with but just a thought. PM me if you are interested. Also, hope you stop by our tailgate next saturday!

Those points you got at the soccer game only count toward you student rewards points and not toward your loyalty points so it won't have an effect on your ticket stuff. I was wondering if student reward points counted as loyalty points so I asked the people working the gate and they said it was separate. Thats just what they told me so take it for what its worth.

I just got an email that said the following:

"If you received an email indicating that you were put on the waiting list, please disregard that message. All requests made for tickets to the Western Kentucky game during the Request Period will be honored, including guest tickets."

Things just keeps getting worse and worse for student tickets.

Next year, we'll have to drive to UTC's campus to pick up our tickets after we are waitlisted, and we'll have to shoot flares up into the sky at night just to clarify that we do in fact want tickets.

At least that is one of the proposals.

Friends...I am an alumni. This is what we like to call part of "the big orange screw." That is usually held for academics but can be reserved for situations like this as well.
