I was watching or O-line and was basically thinking about coaches in college and coaches in the pro's and what about them is different and one thing stands out.....Stubborn Loyalty. We have seen that on the Hill in the past with Fulmer and all the way up until now. Coaches in college seem the stick around for years after they show that they are unable to produce and in the Pro's if you ain't cutting it you are gone. I know there are some examples of that not being the case but think about it.
There is one college coach that if you don't produce you are gone friend or not and he seems to not have any friends is Saban but he is very successful and the method is hard to argue with. I am not sure it is true but I was told that when he came from Michigan State to LSU none of his staff came with him or wanted too and when he went to Miami from LSU only Dooley did.
He may just be hard to work for or he expects nothing but the best out of his staff. We just seem to be a pay check if you produce or not.
